ASEAN CHIEFS OF ARMIES MULTILATERAL MEETING
ACAMM was conceived in 2000 as an offshoot of the presence of all Chiefs of Armies during the closing ceremonies of AARM.  This meeting is intended to foster military-to-military cooperation, develop interpersonal relationships and contribute to regional dialogue and stability.  The first ACAMM was hosted by Thailand in 2000, followed by the Philippines in 2001, Singapore in 2002, Malaysia in 2003, Indonesia in 2004, Brunei in 2005, Vietnam in 2006 and Thailand in 2007. At present, ACAMM is being participated by ten countries, namely: Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos and the Philippines.
