GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY OF 2 10- DOOR APARTMENTS HELD

Pili, Camarines Sur – The Bicol-based 565TH ENGINEERS’ recently launched the ceremonial ground breaking of two units of 10 Door Apartments at Headquarters 9th Infantry Division, PA in Camp Elias Angeles here.

At least 20 military officers and men will have the opportunity get housing benefits following the completion of said apartment. The apartment will be a big boost on the 9th ID’s effort to provide housing to all its officer and men.

LTC AGUINALDO I ORDONEZ .Commanding Officer of 565th ECB, along with BGEN CELSO SILVESTRE JR AFP. the Assistant Division Commander of 9ID, PA, led the ground-breaking ceremony last 20 May 2010. “It is my privilege to be with you today for the ground-breaking of a project that will bring realization to the wishes of those who have sacrificed for peace and security of the Bicol region – spear soldiers," Gen Silvestre said during the ceremony.

The apartment project was sourced out from the Armed Forces Modernization Fund amounting to P18M per unit with a total cost of P33M. The construction directive from Heaquarters Phil Army was already issued to 51st Engineer Brigade, PA to be implemented by 565th Engineer Construction Batallion.( LTC AIO)
