To provide General Engineer Support to Philippine Army units and contribute to the National Development Program of the government

Functions

  • Construct and rehabilitate roads, bridges, buildings and related facilities.

  • Provide limited concreting and asphalting works for roads and pavement.

  • Supervise contract labor and indigenous hire personnel and assist in the supervision of contract construction.

  • Assist in the relief, rescue and rehabilitation operating during calamities.

  • Assist in operating and servicing vital public utilities during emergencies

  • Provide limited construction survey and engineer reconnaissance.

  • Provide local security for the unit’s area or installation.

Unit Objectives:

  • To attain maximum effectiveness, undertaking its assigned tasks thru proper coordination and rapport with the civilian authorities, so as to obtain their cooperation and support for the successful accomplishment of the unit mission.

  • To obtain maximum accomplishment thru proper utilization of equipment, manpower and other resources.

  • To increase MOS fill-up of military personnel thru actual on-the-job training.
