EMSBN PROJECT UPDATE 2ND QUARTER 2009

The Engineer Maintenance and Support Battalion continue to provide services on construction mission. For the first quarter of this year, this unit was able to complete projects on vertical constructions.

DND OASIL Branch Rehabilitation– located within DND Compound of CGEA. A 1.2M Project was finally completed and turned over on 24 January 2009. This project was completed within 120 calendar days. However, this project further underwent on additional works as requested by the end-user. A 65k refurbishing works which was completed on 23 Feb 2009.

DND OUSIA Branch Renovation - also located within DND Compound of CGEA. A 0.99M Project was finally completed and turned over on 09 January 2009. This project was undertaken within 120 calendar days.

GHQ Cottage 414 Repair — A 2.7M Project was completed on 02 March 2009. This project was undertaken within 120 calendar days as per reference of the new brigade incumbency.

GHQ Cottage 419A Repair — A 2.7M Project was completed on 02 March 2009. This project was undertaken within 120 calendar days as per reference of the new brigade incumbency.

LNMB Section XIX, Taguig City - part of the 5-M project were already completed such as the Construction of the Comfort Room worth 0.7M and the 0.5M Graveyard Storage Building. These projects were accepted and turned over on 20 Jan 2009. It was undertaken for 60 calendar days.

CGEA Bike Lane - a non formal construction without proper POW and Detailed Estimate. This project consists of joint material and fund support from the staffs of GHQ as directed by the Deputy Chief of Staff. This project has completed a first phase. It was turned over on 28 February 2009 to the HSG, GHQ. This project was undertaken for 37 calendar days.

Construction of One (1) Transient Facility, El Nido Palawan — A 2.5M project was completed on 15 March 2009. This project is set to be turned over and be accepted on the second week of April 2009. It was undertaken within 90 calendar days.
