EMSBN’s CMO Activity

The Engineer Maintenance and Support Battalion , 51st Engineer Brigade, Philippine Army support the conduct of Internal Security Operations to destroy the threat groups in order to create a secure physical and psychological environment conductive to peace and development.

The conduct of CMO in support to ISO aims to weaken the threat groups’ will to fight, gain popular support and promote good image of the AFP.

In compliance with its given mission, this unit has done various CMO activities for the 2nd quarter of this year.

On Military Affairs, this unit conducts Military Values Education Program together with the brigade personnel every Monday of the week in order to maintain the internal well-being of every personnel. Aside from that, they learn new ideas through the “DAGDAG KAALAMAN” being shared by an assigned officer for the program.

This unit conducts vehicle assistance, LGU parade participations, magazine distributions, tree planting programs, public awareness and manpower assistance for its Public Affairs programs.

On Psychological Operations, it maintains rapport with all stakeholders as well as the laborers within the project sites for a better working environment. Such activities have become effective tools for this unit to accomplish the task so as to get acquainted with the people we are working with.

The CMO activity of the Engineer Maintenance and Support Battalion is geared towards the continuous participation in the infrastructure and socio-economic development programs of the government. With the on-going projects at PSG Compound, Malacañang Manila and various Military Projects at CGEA and PDEA Academy, Silang, Cavite, the unit continually upholds its mission of providing engineer support to AFP units, other Government Agencies, and NGOs. The Engineer Maintenance and Support Battalion has once again successfully contributed to the over-all thrust of the Philippine Army in gaining the people’s faith in the AFP and the National Government.
