EMS on Honest, Orderly and Peaceful Election
Adherence to the Chain of Command
In the selection of the next leader who will run the country, the whole Filipino nation took part on this historical event. The EMS team is one with the nation for a peaceful election. Before and after election we were already on alert status, observing, guarding and waiting for the final outcome of the electoral process.
April 28 2010, a local Absentee Voting was conducted at the EMS, Two representatives from 3rd District COMELEC supervised the voting process. This gave the EMSBn personnel an opportunity to exercise their right to vote. Before voting, an Info drive was conducted at the Battalion on the proper usage of the PCOS Machine. Brochures and Instructional DVD was provided to guide the personnel on how to cast their votes.
After the May 10 Election, a team was sent to Brgy Libis to join the “Task Force Baklas Poster” a campaign on which all election campaign materials used during election period would be removed, by order of BGEN FELIZARDO A SIMOY, CG 51ST EBde Brgy Libis was cleared and stripped off its campaign posters and banner. The team was headed by MAJ DANIELITO P YOUNG Battalion CMO officer.

The Election of 2010 proved to be a historical event, with the use of automated machines votes were counted easily, fast and effective and the next President of the Republic of the Philippines was declared after tallying of all reports. Whoever will sit, the Team 51st Engineers will always adhere to the chain of command.
