BGEN FRANK SIMOY - ACCOMPLISHMENT UPDATES AS 16TH COMMANDER OF 51EBDE, PA LTC AGUINALDO I ORDONEZ GSC (CE) PA

One of his first acts was to create “Task Force” for troubled projects which would report directly to his office, without going through the staff. Numerous of this kind of Task force was activated like TF “SOLCOM” to complete the various housing facilities projects in HSOLCOM and recently TF “AGUINALDO” to undertake the NDCP and AFPNDSC Building Projects in GHQ. He appointed veteran engineer officer COL NAZARIO A LIRA as Bde Chief of Staff for what is now known as “Brigade Bastonero,” since the CS duty is to correct coordinating Staff slothful actions in the Bde Hqs. He has COL R DEMOSTHENES SANTILLAN as Deputy, Commander, the exceptional engineer officer that formerly steered 525th Engineer Battalion; PA (S) in its multifarious projects in HPA other major army camps in Luzon. BGEN SIMOY has seasoned Unit Commanders overseeing the Three Engineer Construction Battalions and One Engineer Maintenance and Support Battalion.

15 Dec 2008 Completed KBP projects in Albay and 9th ID, PA BRF in Camarines Sur undertaken by 565 ECB.

20 Jan 2009 Completed renovation of the Army Recruitment Center of APMC in HPA, FBMM 18 Feb 2009 Completed various KBP Projects in Laguna undertaken by 564 ECB
