SYMBOLIC TURN- OVER OF KBP RIZAL PROVINCE PROJECTS
The 51st Engineer Brigade, Phils Army under the leadership of BGEN FELIZARDO A SIMOY AFP recently conducted the Symbolic Turnover of all completed Kalayaan sa Barangays Program (KBP) Projects in the province of Rizal. The simple but meaningful event was held at the municipal covered court of Tanay, Rizal on 12 August 2010 with an estimated 900 populace witnessed the activity.
A total of twenty two (22) KBP projects composing of 8 units schoolbuilding, 7 units water system, 5 units farm-to-market roads 1 unit health center and 1 unit electrification system benefitted the civilian populace of Rizal.
During the remarks of Gov Casimiro A Ynares III, represented by Provincial Board Member Welmer Ilago expressed his gratitude towards the Armed Forces of the Philippines in coordination with LGUs/LGAs in carrying out the essential services in the implementation of the numerous Kalayaan Barangay Program (KBP) projects in the province of Rizal. Also joined the memorable hand-over were Hon Rafael Tantuatco, mayor of Tanay and Ms Elena Padua of OPPAP.
MAJ LTGEN ROLAND DETABALI AFP, COMSOLCOM , MGEN CARLOS HOLGANZA AFP,COMNADESCOM, BGEN JESSIE DELLOSA, Commander, 2nd Infantry Division, PA, and BGEN FELIZARDO A SIMOY AFP, Commander, 51st Engr Bde, PA are among the top ranking AFP embraced the memorable occasion.
With the presence of all barangay chairmen benifetted the noble KBP projects and the warm acceptance of populace shown during the affair signal the satisfaction of government services delivered to their respective community. The noble projects made them feel that the Army and participating agency of our own government are always after their welfares
Highlight of the activity is the Joint Medical-Dental Civic Action Program spearheaded by the 51Ebde in cooperation with 2nd ID, PA, municiapl health workers of Rizal.
A total of 334 medical and 121 dental patients benefitted from the Joint Medical and Dental Civic Action. Moreover, the Team 51st Engineers CMO Team also conducted free haircut and free shiatsu massage/reflex wherein a 50 residents availed the Libreng Gupit and 27 residents benefitted the “Libreng Masahe”. click here to continue...
