MGEN EDUARDO DRUECO DEL ROSARIO AFP currently serves as the 33rd Commander of 2nd Infantry (Jungle Fighter) Division, Philippine Army on 21 January 2012.

He is a member of the Philippine Military Academy “Mapitagan” Class of 1980. Prior to his designation, he served as the Commander of the Civil Relations Service, Armed Forces of the Philippines. Among the significant assignments he held were: Assistant Division Commander of 8th Infantry Division, Philippine Army; Army Internal Auditor, Philippine Army; Brigade Commander of the 1003rd Bde, 10ID, PA; Brigade Commander of the 803rd Bde, 8ID, PA; Commanding Officer, Civil Affairs Group, Philippine Army and Battalion Commander 73rd Infantry Battalion, 7ID, PA.

He has also undergone many training activities and schoolings both here and abroad which truly molded him to what he is today, among of which are the following: Scout Ranger Orientation Course in Scout Ranger Training Center, 2ID, PA; Basic Ranger Course at Army Special Warfare Brigade, Fort Magsaysay Palayan City; Basic Airborne Course also in Army Special Warfare Bde, Fort Magsaysay Palayan City; Field Artillery Officer Basic Course at Combat Arms School, Training and Doctrine Command Philippine Army; Field Artillery Officer Advance Course in Fort Sill, Okinawa, USA; Command and General Staff Course at Training and Doctrine Command, Philippine Army and Counter Terrorism Course at Naval Post Graduate School, California, USA. His wholehearted commitment, innovativeness, progressive thinking and meritorious achievements as a military professional earned him the admiration of his men and fellow officers in the organization aside from earning him various military awards and commendations such as Distinguished Service Star, Outstanding Achievement Medal and Military Merit Medal.

A family-oriented man and God-centered individual, MGEN DEL ROSARIO is happily married to Dra. Annie Rita Del Rosario and blessed with a son name Henry.
