Fourth Forward Service Support Unit (4FSSU) was formerly named 4th Military Support Point (4MSP) under AFP Logistic Command (AFPLC). Its operation was transferred to Army Support Command (ASCOM) sometime on January 1988 to fill-up the Forward Support Unit and serve as one of the operating arm of Army Support Command. This unit was first headed by then LTC ARNOLFO B PALMEA OS (GSC) PA as Officer-In-Charge and now the Commander of Army Support Command (ASCOM). A month later, LTC VICTOR R TORRES PA was installed as the first Commanding Officer of 4FSSU, ASCOM, PA. Afterwards, seven (7) more officers followed the succession of command. On 15 July of 2011, LTC ARNEL JOSE J MORADA QMS (GSC) PA assumed the position of Commanding Officer of the unit up to this date.
