Mission

“To develop, organize, train, equip and administer reservists into a capable, responsive and mobilizeable reserve force as integral component of the total army in the defense of the state and to participate in socio – economic development efforts.”

Goals

To achieve professionalism in the development and administration of the Philippine Army’s Reserve Force through the use of technical resources and improvement of human skills and competencies that will enable the unit to respond to changes and new challenges.
To upgrade the command’s intelligence and CMO capabilities optimizing the vast potentials of reservists and ROTC cadets in support of the Philippine Army’s Internal Security Operations.

Current Thrust

1. To transform ARESCOM into an effective partner of the maneuver units. As much the voluntary services of our reservists in intel works, CMO activities, DRRO and even in information operations and environmental protection are really needed by this time.

2. To continue to work for the welfare of our soldiers to benefit them more as an individual and let them feel that they are part of Team ARESCOM.

3. To continuously ensure that proper values are cultivated in ROTC and Reservist training to eliminate corrupt practices in the implementation of our training programs.

4. RCDGs shall ensure that personnel assigned with ROTC units are at par with the instructors of the other NSTP components. And to put up the best training aids in coordination with maneuver units to attract more cadets to join the ROTC component.

5. The activation of CARAGA RCDG and CDC in COMVAL , SULBAT areas and Biliran to enhance efforts in particular area.And to improve inter agency coordination.
