UNIFIERS CONDUCTS BRIGADA ESKWELA IN NORTHERN NEGROS

The
soldiers from 62IB, 3ID, PA repainting the classroom, walls and benches
and polishing the premises of Sagay National High School, Jose B Puey Sr
and Maria V Lopez Elementary Schools in Sagay City together with the
parents, teachers and students during the nationwide conduct of Brigada
Eskwela 2010.
BRGY. BATO, SAGAY CITY, Negros Occidental –- The 62nd Infantry (Unifier)
Battalion of the Army's 3rd Infantry (Spearhead) Division under the
leadership of Lt Col Alberto C Desoyo INF (GSC) PA in close coordination
with the Department of Education and the different school heads of
secondary and elementary schools within the area of operations
participated in the conduct of Brigada Eskwela Plus 2010 from May 24 to
28 2010. The purpose of this activity is to show to the public the
coordinated efforts and partnership of the LGU's, Dep-Ed, Philippine
Army, PNP, Religious Sectors, Barangay Officials, Teachers and Parents
in preparing the school campuses for the benefit of the students.
This unit together with the LGUs, Dep-Ed, PNP, Religious Sectors,
Barangay Officials, Parents, Students and Pupils have successfully
facilitated the conduct of Brigada Eskwela Plus 2010 in the renovation,
repainting and cleanliness drive within the twenty five (25) different
public secondary and elementary schools in the Cities of Cadiz, Sagay
and San Carlos and in the Municipalities of Toboso and Calatrava all of
Negros Occidental. It was once again proven that the cooperation,
teamwork between the Philippine Army, LGUs, LGAs and other stakeholders
and the desire to help each other will result to better delivery of
basic services that are truly needed by our constituents. |
