COL CABREROS         COL GEORGE P CABREROS GSC (OS) PA  

         Chief of Staff, Army Support Command

         COL GEORGE PAGSOLINGAN CABREROS GSC (OS) PA assumed the position as the Chief of Staff, Army Support Command on 01 March 2020.

     A native of Alcala, Pangasinan, COL CABREROS was commissioned as a member of PMA “Sambisig” Class of 1991. He started his military career as the Platoon Leader and Company Commander of Bravo Company, 27th Infantry Battalion, 6th Infantry Division and later became the Triad Officer and assumed other significant positions at 27th Infantry Battalion, 6th Infantry Division.

          During his field grade duties and earning the credence of his superiors, COL CABREROS was exposed to different assignments and earned vast of expertise as Headquarters Philippine Army Staff being the Chief Firepower Branch, G4, PA and ASCOM Command Staff such as Assistant Chief of Staff for Logistics, G4; Chief, MFO; Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations, G3 and Assistant Chief of Staff for Education and Training, G8.

        As a home grown ASCOM Logistician, COL CABREROS also held several Command positions, among which are the Acting Commanding Officer, Truck Battalion, 1LSG; Commandant, Service Support Training Center; Commanding Officer, 11st Forward Service Support Unit; Commanding Officer, Armament and Ammunition Battalion; Deputy Commander, 1st Logistics Support Group and later became the Director of the Research and Development Center prior he assumed as the Top 3 of ASCOM.

           On procurement initiatives, COL CABREROS plays a vital role in different procurement activities for acquisition of mission essential equipment of Philippine Army. He has been the member of AFP Technical Working Group under the Department of National Defense; Member of PT-3 Philippine Defense Reform Logistics and Acquisition Program of General Headquarters, AFP and Program Manager for Procurement Force Protection Project of Headquarters Philippine Army.

            For his military and civilian schooling, COL CABREROS is a graduate of AFP Comptrollership Course at Command General Staff College; Planning, Programming and Budgeting Seminar at Army Resource Management Office; Project Management Team Training at Army Modernization Program Management Office; Command and General Staff Course at AFP Command and General Staff College. COL CABREROS is also a graduate of foreign schooling which includes Security Assistant Management Foreign Purchase Course at DISAM Ohio, USA and Small Arms and Light Weapon Program at USA Department of Defense. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Public Management major in Development Security at the Developmental Academy of the Philippines.  

           COL CABREROS is a recipient of several awards, recognitions and appreciation that includes Distinguished Service Stars, Gold Cross Medal, AFP Logistics Eligibility Badge, Long Service Medal, Bronze Cross Medal, Military Merit Medals (MMM), Military Commendation Medals (MCM) and various letter of appreciations and commendations.

            COL CABREROS is married to Mrs. Rosa May Himbing Cabreros and blessed with two (2) lovely daughters, Geeanne Pauline and Geeanne Patricia.
