Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila - The OJ4, GHQ, AFP hosted the 2019 1st AFP Logistics Family Fun shoot on 09 May 2019 held at SEB, Firing Range, HPA, Fort Bonifacio, M.M.. The activity aims to promote camaraderie and exhibit the prowess and proficiency of all participating teams in pistol shooting accuracy. The competing teams were organized into four (4) Teams each from the Philippine Army, Philippine Navy, Philippine Airforce and GHQ.
During the opening, the AFP Vice Chief of Staff LTGEN SALVADOR MELCHOR B MISON JR AFP, led the ceremonial shoot together with MGEN BYRON H CALIMAG AFP, COMASCOM, MGEN PIO Q DINOSO III, DCS for Logistics, J4, GHQ, BGEN FERNYL G BUCA AFP, AJ4, BGEN CONNOR ANTHONY D CANLAS SR AFP, Chief AFPPS, BGEN FLORANTE M AMANO AFP Wing CMDR 410MW and COMMO LOUMER P BERNABE AFP, Chief of Naval Staff, PN.
All participants performed the four (4) stages namely: stage 1 - Color Blind, stage 2 - Marawi Siege, stage 3 - Ranks and File, stage 4 - Boodle Fight. After all the ranges was declared clear, the PN shooting Team Alpha grabbed the two (2) stages as Champion, however the PA shooting Teams headed by MGEN CALIMAG took the home court advance as Team Bravo and Charlie both clichéd one (1) stage each as Champion and two (2) stages each as 1st runner-up for the PA SHOOTING TEAM to dominate the event and was declared the Over-all Champion.
