6FSSU Inter-color Basketball Tournament 2019

“Being a Soldier is every Nation’s Hero”. But a Hero needs to boost his morale to serve the nation and its people. Inter-Color Basketball Tournament held annually in this unit to promote personnel’s health, fitness and good camaraderie. It gives every personnel the opportunity to interact with their colleagues, while showing off their basketball skills and entertaining supporting spectators. This year’s tournament was opened on 28th day of May 2019, Tuesday at 6FFSU Basketball Court headed by our FSSU Commander, LTC DEXTER A MACASAET QMS (GSC) PA and composed of four (4) team colors, the Grey Team, Green Team, Orange Team and the Red Team. Each team colors were composed of seventeen (17) members and headed by their team captains. The Grey Team led by LTC DEXTER A MACASAET QMS (GSC) PA, the Green Team led by CPT DAVID C VALLEJOS (QMS) PA, the Orange Team led by MAJ ELINOR C PEDROSO (QMS) PA and for the Red Team led by CPT ALEXANDER M ROBILLOS (OS) PA. We believe that there is more to life than winning; that good health, good character and mutual support in the spirit of “Bayanihan” are the guideposts to a meaningful life. This tournament is committed to the promotion of these virtues by engaging in a friendly, yet competitive basketball tournament that promotes good sportsmanship, physical fitness and teamwork.
