11FSSU Educates 10ID personnel on Rifle Propelled Grenade (RPG7) through RPG7 Operators Training

Naval Station Felix Apolinario, Panacan, Davao City –The 11th Forward Service Support Unit, ASCOM, PA conducted the Rifle Propelled Grenade (RPG7) Operators Training at the Headquarters 10th Division Training School (10DTS), 10th Infantry Division, Philippine Army on 22-23 May 2019. No less than LTC CRISANTO C CALIT OS (GSC) PA, Commanding Officer of 11FSSU conducted the lectures and demonstration during the said activity.
The training was in coordination with LTC LUCIANO M CAIMAN JR INF (GSC) PA, Commandant 10DTS and COL JEFFREY C CABANSAY GSC (FA) PA, the Assistant Chief of Staff for Training and Education, G8 of 10ID. This aimed to educate the 10ID OPCON and subordinate units on the safe and proper operations of the RPG7 especially those who were not able to attend the training previously conducted. Salient features, specifications and characteristics of the firearms were discussed in the lectures. Likewise, the care and maintenance of the weapon to include its ammunition were also given emphasize during the lectures of LTC CALIT.
The training was attended by 4 officers and 37 enlisted personnel. A live fire exercise conducted on the second day highlighted the conduct of the said training wherein majority of the participants hit their designated targets.
