7FSSU Troopers on Safety Motorcycle Seminar
Recognizing the need for increase safety for motorcycle riders, the Commander of Army Support Command, PA, MGEN BYRON H CALIMAG AFP has immediately mandated all its subordinate unit commanders to conduct seminars on Motorcycle Safety. This was an offshoot of the recently increasing trends of motorcycle accidents involving military personnel due to reckless driving and limited of knowledge on the traffic rules and regulations.
In respond to this directive, the 7FSSU ASCOM has tapped the assistance of subject matter experts (SMEs) to conduct seminar to all personnel. Subsequently, The unit as spearheaded by the unit Operations Officer, MAJ NONIE M RUIZAL (OS) PA hosted a day seminar on Motorcycle Safety which was successfully completed last 26 June 2018. Top lecturers from Cebu City Transportation Office, Traffic Education Section represented by Traffic Aide II Julito Q Baldago and Traffic Aide I Angelo B Vergoza were able to deliver informative lectures on motorcycle safety standards and traffic regulations that has essentially enlightened all organic personnel of 7FSSU who are generally motorcycle riders themselves.
