TITLE: 7FSSU hosted seminar on Drug abuse
In support to the government’s War on Drugs, the 7FSSU hosted a seminar on Alcohol and Drug Abuse last 28 June 2019 at the 7FSSU headquarters through the initiative its Commanding Officer, LTC EDGAR C PAULE QMS (GSC) PA. The said seminar was delivered by the PDEA personnel represented by Ms. Maricel Lim and Mr. Jeremy Soriano to all organic personnel of the unit.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency desires a drug free community by 2022. They endeavor to significantly reduce supply and demand of illegal drugs and they believe that this can be achieved through intensive operation and at the same time citizens education. However, tremendous abuses on drugs will be their enemy and a huge battleground to face. Individuals involved in these kinds of illegal activities have the tendencies to commit murder, rape, assault, robbery, ruined relationships, prolong illness, premature death losses, and suicide.
Thus, 7FSSU as one of the counterparts of PDEA on its War on illegal Drugs in the City viewed this activity/seminar as deemed necessary to educate and involve its personnel and participate in nation building by way of supporting President Duterte’s War on illegal Drugs.
