Joint Relief Operations No Rest for the Wicked

                   NSFA, Panacan, Davao City- The Philippine Army Finance Center Producers Integrated Cooperative (PAFCPIC), Davao Branch in cooperation with the 11th Forward Service Support Unit (11FSSU), Army Support Command, Philippine Army; and 11th Finance Service Field Office (11FSFO) Finance Center, Philippine Army conducted Joint Relief Operations on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Masaysay, Davao del Sur.

               286 families of Barangay Maibo and Malongon of the said municipality received food packs, potable water and rice which were sponsored by the PAFCPIC headed by their Branch Manager, Ms Paulita P Licyayo.

               Six military trucks with drivers were provided by the 11FSSU for the transport of the relief goods and potable water from Davao City to the two earthquakes stricken far flung barangays. On the other hand, the 11FSFO provided haulers, security personnel and other administrative requirement for the activity.

                Series of coordination were initiated by LTC CRISANTO C CALIT OS (GSC) PA, Commanding Officer, 11FSSU that paved the way for the safe and successful conduct of the activity. He, being a native of Bansalan, Davao del Sur and also an earthquake victim personally supervises the said relief operations from planning to execution.

           “The travel was long, rough and tiring but despite this hindrance, it is one of the memorable weekends of my career. It is very heart-warming to extend assistance to the victims” said LTC CALIT

             A total of 286 sets of food packages containing canned goods and noodles, 20-liter bottled water, and 10-kilogram rice per family were given during the whole-day relief operations

          Honorable Chito Pari and Honorable Roberto Quillobe, Brgy Captains of Maibo and Malongon respectively expressed their deepest gratitude for the aids that they and their constituents received.
