SSTS, ASCOM, PA Brigada Eskwela
Gerona, Tarlac- LTC CLARENCE C GARRIDO, Commandant, Service Support Training School, ASCOM, PA, together with the Armed Forces and Police Savings & Loan Association, Inc. (AFPSLAI) participated in the Brigada Eskwela in Carbonel Elementary School, Gerona, Tarlac last May 04, 2022. Carbonel Elementary School is dubbed as one of the last frontier school of Gerona being situated among the farthest schools.
Personnel from SSTS and AFPSLAI together with the faculty of the school distributed books and school supplies to 119 student beneficiaries. A brand new printer and six (6) electric fans were also donated. Furthermore, a clean up drive around the school grounds was also included while the students were amused by musical entertainment.
Dr Jenneth A Payupay, School Head of Carbonel Elementary School, expressed her deepest gratitude for the laudable efforts of the benefactors.
Dr Payupay also thanked Dole Philippines, Kasilak Development Foundation Inc., and Viba Publishing who donated a total of 177 books for grades 1-6 students.
