St. Luke's to offer world-class medical expertise to Army personnel and dependents

FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila - Representatives from the St. Luke's Medical Center paid a courtesy call to the Army leadership here today, August 7 to forge a partnership with the Army in providing world-class medical expertise for soldiers and their dependents

Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Macairog S. Alberto welcomed the initiative of St. Luke's through its President and Chief Executive Off icer, Arturo S. De La Peña to extend affordable eye care and other medical services to the Army. "A world-class Army deserves world-class health expertise," said De La Peña.

He also recognized the role of soldiers in providing security and the importance of good health in performing their duty. He further recalled that during the Marawi Crisis some soldiers relied on their services to treat the severe injuries they suffered in the field.

“The partnership will complement the special medical needs of our soldiers. This also supports our advocacy to promote good health and fitness among our soldiers and families ”, said Alberto.
