FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila – The Philippine Army installed two new chiefs of office in a ceremony led by the Army Chief of Staff, Maj. Gen. Jesus B. Sarsagat on September 13, here.

Col Mark Edwin B. Moro was installed as the new Assistant Chief of Staff for Command and Control, Communications and Cyber Systems (C4S), G6, replacing Col. Milton Y. Beset who is set to assume as AJ6 of the Armed Forces of the Philippines. The G6 is committed to sustaining the Army’s initiatives in upgrading cyber warfare capability in order to address fast-evolving threats.

Moro previously served as the deputy commander of the Army Signal Regiment. He is a graduate of Philippine Military Academy “Sambisig” Class of 1991. His military training includes the Command and General Staff Course and Radio Frequency Management Course from the Defence Force School of Signals in Australia.

On the other hand, Lt. Col. Alfred E. Ramones assumed as the new Army Provost Marshal, replacing Col. Joel Alejandro S. Nacnac. The office is mandated to enforce military discipline and safety.

Before his assumption, Ramones is already serving as the unit’s deputy. He is a graduate of Political Science from Saint Columban College in Pagadian City, and Bachelor of Laws from Misamis University.

In his closing speech, Sarsagat enjoined the two offices to “work as a team in pursuing the Army’s quest for excellence and professionalism.”#
