FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila -- The Commanding General Philippine Army (CGPA) rendered his official visit to the 1st "Tabak" Division yesterday, February 25, 2021 at Kuta Cesar Sang-an, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur.
The Commanding General Philippine Army Lt. Gen. Jose C Faustino commended the Division headed by Maj. Gen. Generoso M Ponio for the successful combat operations in Zamboanga region that resulted to the neutralization of Abu-Sayyaf Group leader Furuji Indama, dismantled five guerilla fronts, and welcomed 130 Communist Terrorist Groups surrenderees.
"Always remember to instill the desire to serve and devotion to duty as public servants. Rest assured that your Philippine Army will give you its utmost support in every step of the way. Marami at maayos ang nagagawa ng Army personnel na inspirado at may pagmamahal" Lt. Gen. Faustino said in his remarks.#
