FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila - The Commanding General of the Philippine Army donned ranks to the newly promoted Army Colonels here today, March 1, 2021.
Lt. Gen. Jose C. Faustino Jr. lauded the 41 newly promoted officers as he donned their ranks in a ceremony. He also reiterated the importance of the new Colonels' role in the fulfillment of the Army's mission to develop, organize, equip, support, and sustain Army forces that will lead the unified commands to triumph over wars and win the peace.
"May the new ranks that you now proudly wear on your shoulders further motivate you to contribute more in the accomplishment of the Philippine Army's mandate of serving the people and securing the land," said Lt. Gen. Faustino in his remarks. "Likewise, I am confident that with this new achievement, you and your respective units will be more motivated to better serve the Philippine Army, the Armed Forces of the Philippines, and our country," he added. #
