FORT BONIFACIO, METRO MANILA – Troops from the 23rd Infantry Battalion under the 4th Infantry Division clashed against Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) members in Barangay Guinabsan, Buenavista, Agusan del Norte on September 6, 2021.
The operating troops encountered 25 CTG members belonging to the North Central Mindanao Regional Committee (NCMRC) in a 15-minute firefight that resulted in the seizure of three AK47 rifles, two M203 grenade launchers, and one Anti-Personnel Mine.
