Army conducts Multi-Sector Advisory Board Summit 2021

FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila - The Philippine Army Multi-Sector Advisory Board (PA MSAB) conducted this year's summit and 3rd Quarter Regular Meeting thru face-to-face and virtual teleconference at Hotel Oazis, Butuan City, on September 15, 2021.
The Commanding General Philippine Army, Maj. Gen. Andres C. Centino was joined onsite by MSAB Chairperson Dir. Gen. Charito B. Plaza while other members joined via online teleconference. During the summit, the board highlighted its role in ending the local communist armed conflict by giving timely and relevant advice and recommendations to the Philippine Army in its modernization program and conduct of operations.
Meanwhile, Maj. Gen. Centino acknowledged the MSAB's members and partners for their support in the Army's bid for good governance and excellence in performing its mandate in serving the people and securing the communities against all threats.
"I am positive that today's comprehensive exchange of perspectives and ideas will further improve our systems and programs that will further enhance the Army's conduct of operations against state's enemies. I hope that what we have all learned at this summit has not only renewed but also reinforced our commitment to serving our country and people," said Maj. Gen. Centino.
During the activity, the CGPA also conferred the Army Governance Pathway Status to the units of the 4ID. Among the awarded units with Proficient Status were the 8th Infantry "Dependable" Battalion and 36th Infantry "Valor" Battalion with Gold Trailblazer Award, and 30th Infantry "Fight On" Battalion and 4th Military Intelligence Battalion with Silver Trailblazer Award.
