Operating troops of the Philippine Army's 3rd Infantry Battalion (3IB) under 10th Infantry Division successfully recovered war materials including M16 rifle, M16 handguard, four back packs, assorted medical paraphernalia, cooking pot, and other supplies in two successive encounters against nine CPP-NPA Terrorists (CNTs) with the tip of community at Barangay Sinuda, Kitaotao, Bukidnon on January 10, 2022.
Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr. lauded 3IB troops for scoring another win against CNTs in Bukidnon as he called on remaining communists-terrorists to return to the folds of law.
“The recovery of these weapons and supplies will surely deny the CNTs means to further commit atrocities in communities. To our troops, sustain our operational gains as we move closer to our goal of ending the insurgency problem that has festered for more than fifty years,” Lt. Gen. Brawner, remarked.
