Senior military officers enrolled at the Bangladesh Defense Services Command and Staff College got acquainted with the Philippine Army's accomplishments and transformational roadmap in a study tour at the Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila on October 4, 2022.
HPA general staff briefed the Bangladeshi delegation, led by Senior Instructor Colonel MD Syeedur Rahman, on the key accomplishments of the 125-year-old Philippine Army, including the organization’s transformational roadmap towards becoming a future-ready, world-class organization.
Colonel Rahman and the Bangladeshi delegation currently enrolled in the Bangladesh Defense Services Command and Staff College’s Command and General Staff Course (CGSC) also rendered a courtesy call on Army Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Roberto S. Capulong. The Philippine Army Chief of Staff and the Bangladeshi delegation discussed the imperatives of hurdling the rigors of CGSC which is instrumental in capacitating student-officers in handling positions with greater responsibilities.
Maj. Gen. Capulong thanked Colonel Rahman and the Bangladeshi delegation for visiting the Headquarters Philippine Army, adding that he looks forward to more collaborative engagements that will benefit both PA and the Bangladesh Army.
