Army athletes rule Tagaytay race

The Philippine Army Athletics Team once again asserted its dominance in the local racing scene after Army runners clinched medals in the first leg of the Tagaytay Uphill Challenge Trilogy Series at the People's Park in the Sky, Tagaytay City on November 27, 2022.
 
SSg. Alley C. Quisay emerged as the champion in the 21-kilometer, 40 to 49 years old bracket, while Cpl. Rowell G. Hulleza and Cpl. Eric S. Panique respectively placed second and third in the 5-kilometer men’s category. SSg. Jujet P. De Asis also placed third in the 10-kilometer men’s category of the race which was organized by RTC Sports Events Management Services.
 
Teammates Cpl. Jenismyll M. Quirante and Cpl. Mary Anne Crishelle P. Sanchez registered a one-two finish in the 10-kilometer women’s category while Cpl. Ailene O. Tolentino placed second in the 21-kilometer women’s category.
 
Special Service Center (SSC) Director Col. John Oliver F. Gabun lauded the Philippine Army Athletics Team for dominating the Tagaytay leg of the Uphill Challenge Trilogy Series. The SSC Chief called on them to train hard and sustain their winning momentum.
