Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila – 4ID Troopers tendered a foyer honor to Lieutenant General Rolando Joselito D Bautista AFP, Commanding General, Philippine Army during his visit at Headquarters, 4th Infantry (DIAMOND) Division, PA on 27 April 2018 at Camp Edilberto Evangelista, Cagayan de Oro City. The CGPA was accompanied by Major General Ronald C Villanueva AFP, Commander, 4ID.
The CGPA also visited the prime movers of 4ID in the conduct of development support and security operations such as the 401st Infantry (UNITY) Brigade in Agusan del Sur, 402nd Infantry (STINGERS) Brigade in Surigao del Sur and 403rd Infantry (PEACEMAKER) Brigade in Malaybalay City.
CGPA’s regular camp visit indeed provide morale boosting to the troops on the ground. It was during these visits that the CGPA personally meet the troops to share his thoughts, policies and guidelines as well as updates on the current thrusts and development program of the Philippine Army.
During the Talk to Men, the CGPA acknowledged the troops for their untiring services and sacrifices that greatly contributed in the accomplishment of the Army’s mission. He encouraged the troops to continuously perform their best in pursuit of the given mandate as well as to sustain the gains that the Army had as manifested by the recent survey wherein it garnered a high net trust (+72) and satisfaction (+84) rating from the public.
Likewise, the CGPA also commended the troops for their untiring support and commitment in the Army Transformation Roadmap journey. He gladly announced that the Philippine Army is now globally recognized as one of the best organization in terms of strategy execution after being inducted in the Palladium Balanced Scorecard Hall of Fame for Executing Strategy in London, UK last March 14, 2018.#
