The Office of The Inspector General, Philippine Army (OTIG, PA) led by Maj. Gen. Roy M. Galido hosted the Inspector General Service (IGS) shootfest to foster closer ties and camaraderie among the IGS family at the Philippine Army Firing Range, Fort Bonifacio , Metro Manila on June 7, 2022.
The Inspector General, Armed Forces of the Philippines (TIG, AFP) Lt. Gen. William N. Gonzales emerged as the champion in the said IGS event. Philippine Air Force (PAF) Inspector General, Maj. Gen. Araus Robert F. Musico and Philippine Navy (PN) Inspector General, Rear Admiral Jonas R. Lumawag placed first runner-up and second runner-up, respectively.
The shootfest followed the 2nd AFP-wide IGS forum wherein the inspector generals shared best practices and apprised Lt. Gen. Gonzales about the programs and activities of their respective offices.
