Outgoing CRS, AFP Commander visits HPA

Outgoing commander of the Civil Relations Service, Armed Forces of the Philippines (CRS, AFP) Maj. Gen. Manuel V. Sequitin rendered a courtesy call on Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., on August 10, 2022 at the Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila.
 
The Army Artillery Regiment’s Saluting Battery accorded a 13-gun salute to the retiring CRSAFP commander. Installation Management Command Commander Brig. Gen. George Joel N. Lalaquil served as military host to Maj. Gen. Sequitin whose HPA visit came more than a week before his compulsory retirement from military service on August 19, 2022.
 
Maj. Gen. Sequitin began his military service in 1989 as a commissioned second lieutenant after graduating from the Philippine Military Academy. He has earned four distinguished service stars, one distinguished service medal, a bronze cross medal, a silver wing medal, and an honor graduate award, among other noteworthy commendations throughout his 37 years of service to the country.
 
Maj. Gen. Sequitin is the 41st commander of CRS, AFP, the military unit that engages the public through its timely and relevant public information products about the military and community relations programs.
