Army Chief of Staff shares leadership advice to newly minted officers

The Chief of Staff, Philippine Army (CSPA) Maj. Gen. Roberto S. Capulong shared leadership as well as professional advice to 136 upcoming platoon leaders as they prepare to embark on their field duties at the Philippine Army Officers' Clubhouse, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila on August 15, 2022.

Maj. Gen. Capulong, during the CSPA’s Time, told the newly minted officers to embody the qualities of an exemplary leader. “By embodying the ideals of a great leader, you can thrive as competent and well-equipped servant-leaders from the time you take your posts as platoon leaders up until you become the pillars of the Armed Forces of the Philippines,” the CSPA remarked.

Meanwhile, 24 are members of the pioneering Officer Candidate Course-Reserve Officer Training Corps (OCC-ROTC); two are from OCC Class 55-2021; three from OCC Class 54-2020; and one each from OCC Class 49-2017, the Australian Defence Force Academy Class of 2020, and Republic of Korea Military Academy Class of 2022.
