Outgoing CEISS, AFP chief visits HPA

The outgoing chief of Communications, Electronics, and Information Systems Service, Armed Forces of the Philippines (CEISS, AFP) Brig. Gen. Raul P. Villanueva rendered an exit call on August 18, 2022 to Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., at the Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila.
 
The Artillery Regiment’s Saluting Battery fired an 11-gun salute to honor Brig. Gen. Villanueva who is set to hang his uniform on August 27, 2022 after more than 36 years of military service. The retiring general also received arrival honors and departure honors during his HPA visit.
 
Brig. Gen. Villanueva took the helm of CEISS, AFP in an acting capacity on August 2021. He also held key posts in AFP Joint Task Force NCR, Intelligence Service AFP and the 3rd infantry Division.
 
CEISS, AFP is a General Headquarters-based support unit that provides reliable, responsive, secure and cost-effective communications, electronics, and information systems service to the military.
