AFP Vice Chief of Staff visits HPA

Outgoing Vice Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines Lt. Gen. Erickson V. Gloria visits the Headquarters Philippine Army (HPA) at Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila on August 30, 2022.
 
Lt. Gen. Brawner led the arrival honors for Lt. Gen. Gloria who was accorded a 15-gun salute by the Saluting Battery of the Army Artillery Regiment. HPA officers and chief clerks and senior enlisted personnel led by Army Command Sergeant Major Chief Master Sergeant Rogelio P. Caacbay were also present to receive Lt. Gen. Gloria.
 
Lt. Gen. Gloria, throughout his 38-year military career, held key posts such as the deputy chief-of-staff, AFP and commander of the Palawan-based Western Command. He belongs to the Philippine Military Academy "Maringal" Class of 1988.
 
The retiring general also previously served as AFP Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel (J1), wing commander of the 205th Tactical Helicopter Wing; deputy commander of the Air Mobility Command; and deputy commander of the Air Logistics Command. He likewise led the Philippine Air Force’s 5051st Search and Rescue Squadron based in Palawan, the 5053rd Search and Rescue Squadron in General Santos City; and the 205th Tactical Helicopter Wing.
