VCPA visits CMOR

Vice Commander, Philippine Army (VCPA) Maj. Gen. Camilo Z. Ligayo visited the headquarters of the Civil-Military Operations Regiment (CMOR) to check on troops’ morale and reiterate the Army leadership’s thrusts on September 28, 2022 in Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila.

CMOR Commander Brig. Gen. Arvin R. Lagamon led the arrival honors for Maj. Gen. Ligayo while CMOR Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations Maj. Morley C. Oropesa led the regimental briefing for the visiting Army vice commander.

Maj. Gen. Ligayo, in his “Talk to Troops,” reiterated Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr.’s guidance encapsulated in “SERVE”: ensure the physical and mental health of soldiers, the Army’s most valuable resource; enhance individual soldier skills and unit capabilities; push down resources to all units nationwide; attain victory over communist terrorist rebels and other threat groups, and pursue operational excellence.

The Army Vice Commander also urged CMO operators to sustain hard-earned peace in communities as he expressed optimism that the Army will drive communist-terrorist groups into irrelevance within the year.
