Philippine Army wraps up Hawaii training exercise

The Philippine Army delegation capped its participation in the Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center (JPMRC) Rotation 23-01 in a closing ceremony facilitated by the U.S. Army's 25th Infantry Division (25ID) at the Schofield Barracks, Oahu, Hawaii on November 10, 2022.
 
Troops from the 91st Brigade Reconnaissance Company (91BRC) of the Philippine Army's 1st Brigade Combat Team; Indonesian Army; and 17th Battalion (2-17), 2nd Brigade, 25ID, U.S. Army attended the closing ceremony graced by 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team Commander Col. Graham R. White.
 
2-17, 25ID Battalion Commander Lt. Col. Ryan M. Case, in his keynote speech, lauded Filipino troops for their exemplary performance in the training drills that were divided into three phases--Oahu's East Range, South Range, and Kahuku Training Area. 91BRC troops trained side-by-side with U.S. Army soldiers in a spectrum of exercises that leveled up individual and unit capabilities in combined arms operations.
 
JPMRC is geared at enhancing interoperability and strengthening the partnership between the Philippine Army, the U.S. Army, and participating armies of partner nations in the Indo-Pacific region.
