The Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr. graced the 53rd founding anniversary of the 4th Infantry “Diamond” Division (4ID) at Camp Evangelista, Patag, Cagayan de Oro City on February 3, 2023.
Anchored on the theme, "Sustaining excellence, strengthening partnership," the anniversary ceremony recognized the efforts of all the people behind the success of the 4ID throughout the years. During the event, Lt. Gen. Brawner Jr presided over the pinning of the Institutionalized Status of the 26th Infantry Battalion which exhibited the exemplary performance of good governance. Together with the Army officers, CGPA also led the blessing of the Media Operations Center under the Division Public Affairs Office as well as the presentation of awards to the Army officers, enlisted personnel, civilian employees, and stakeholders.
The Army chief commended the division’s state-building capabilities through the support of the soldiers and stakeholders who always extended their service for the betterment of the community and the country. “To all the military personnel and stakeholders, please continue supporting your Philippine Army and Armed Forces of the Philippines. We need your support and help because if we work together, we will have a better nation,” said the Army chief.
