549th Engineer Battalion (549EBn), 54th Engineer Brigade personnel participated in a mental health and psycho-social workshop facilitated by Mindanao State University (MSU) faculty members at the battalion's headquarters in Awang, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao on February 28, 2023.
MSU faculty members who served as resource persons shared lessons and insights with 549Ebn personnel to help them understand and address mental health issues. The said activity was also geared at fostering a culture of understanding and acceptance in the organization and fighting the stigma of seeking mental help and services.
The activity is in line with the Army’s leadership’s thrust to ensure the mental health and well-being of soldiers through the implementation of responsive and comprehensive mental health programs.
