Army honors personnel, stakeholders during 126th Founding Anniversary Celebration

The Philippine Army gave honor to its stakeholders, military personnel, and Civilian Human Resource Awardees during its 126th Founding Anniversary Celebration on March 22, 2023 at the Headquarters Philippine Army Grandstand, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila.
 
President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., joined by Department of National Defense Officer-In-Charge Sec. Carlito Galvez Jr. and Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr. presented the awards to the exemplary Army personnel in a ceremony.
 
A Gold Cross Medal was awarded to 1st Lt. Felix R. Veronilla and Cpl. James C. Sungcad, a Silver Cross Medal to Maj. Dennis P. Resurreccion and TSgt. Jecris B. Ella, and a Bronze Cross Medal to 1st Lt. Geofrey V. Asis and TSgt. Arco O. Castillo.
 
A Command Plaque was also given to the following best personnel of the year: Sgt. William B. Tello Jr. as the Best Enlisted Personnel, CAA Junie S. Sag-idon as the Best CAFGU Active Auxilliary, Maj. Nilo P. Demerey (Res) as the Best Reservist Officer, Sgt. Roel J. Camba (Res) as the Best Reservist Enlisted, Cadet Col. Fergie John O. Frange as the best Male ROTC Cadet, Cadet Maj. Nurshema A. Upi as the Best Female ROTC Cadet, Ms. Evangeline M. Singueo as the Model Supervisor, and Ms. Janette M. Hapita as the Model Employee.
 
The “Pagkakaisa” Army Stakeholder Award was also presented to GMA Kapuso Foundation Inc., Engineer Isidro A. Consunji and the Consunji Family, National Artist Mr. Nemesio R. Miranda Jr., and Ms. Isabel Cojuanco Suntay, MD.
 
The Philippine Army recognizes the personnel and stakeholders’ efforts to provide quality service to the people and to achieve development and inclusive peace nationwide.
