AFP conducts entrance briefing for Army Annual General Inspection

The Philippine Army participated in the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ Annual General Inspection (AGI) headed by AFP Deputy Inspector General Brig. Gen. Leodigario V. Macalintal on March 23, 2023 at Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila.

The AGI is a management tool for assessing whether AFP units were able to accomplish their respective mission; ensure a high level of morale and welfare and discipline of troops; strengthen leadership; and guarantee the effective and efficient utilization of government resources. Key officers, various unit commanders, and Army General Staff members joined the briefing via face-to-face and virtually.

After the meeting, Brig. Gen. Macalintal also conducted Talk to Troops wherein a healthy dialogue was given to Officers, Enlisted Personnel, and Civilian Human Resources (CHR). The Army troops and civilians exchanged ideas on Army’s resource management, learning and growth, and process excellence.

Moreover, the AFP Deputy Inspector General highlighted that the quality of service of the troops should aim for the highest distinction in passion, professionalism, and discipline so the Army can help attain lasting peace and progress for the country.
