Army's Training and Doctrine Command wraps up 2023 first training cycle

The Philippine Army’s Training and Doctrine Command capped the 2023 1st Training Cycle for 95 career and specialization courses in a closing ceremony at Camp O’ Donnell, Capas, Tarlac on April 28, 2023.
Armor Division Commander Maj Gen. Facundo O. Palafox IV, who served as the ceremony's guest of honor and speaker, lauded the students for excelling in their respective courses.
The 1st training cycle, which started on January 16, 2023, benefitted a total of 3,700 Army personnel who are projected to occupy specific positions in the organization and those who will be promoted to the next higher rank. Likewise, the said training cycle addresses the current training backlog of the Army.
Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr. has prioritized the enhancement of individual soldiers’ skills and capabilities. “We shall pursue education and training programs that will constantly improve the preparedness and combat effectiveness of our forces,” the Army Chief said in his command guidance.
