Special Forces School concludes Special Forces Combat Qualification Course

A total of 221 Army soldiers and policemen hurdled the nearly eight-month Special Forces Combat Qualification Course (SFCQC) Class 21-22 in a closing ceremony held at the Camp Melchor Dela Cruz, Upi, Gamu, Isabela on May 1, 2023.

5th Infantry Division Commander Maj. Gen. Audrey L. Pasia, who served as the closing ceremony's guest of honor and speaker, lauded the students for hurdling various modules that honed their combat skills in urban and jungle warfare, firearm proficiency, and airborne operations. The SFCQC, known for its top-notch training for jungle warfare, is the first step to becoming a full-fledged Special Forces Operator.

The course also reinforces the thrust of Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr. to enhance the individual skills of soldiers and unit capabilities with the end goal of bolstering mission accomplishment.
