The Charlie Battery of the 3rd Field Artillery Battalion, Army Artillery Regiment conducted a live-fire exercise in connection with the Field Artillery Gunnery Proficiency Training (FAGPT) at Barangay Fatima, Hinabangan, Samar on May 18, 2023.
FAGPT is geared at training field artillery personnel to become proficient and effective in Field Artillery Gunnery as well as to develop the competency of the crew manning the howitzers in providing accurate and responsive artillery fires in support of maneuver forces.
The activity was successfully conducted with the support of the personnel from the 801st Infantry Brigade, 8th Infantry Division and the Local Government Unit of Hinabangan, Samar.
The said training exercise also reinforces the thrust of the Army leadership to continuously enhance the individual skills of soldiers and unit capabilities.
