The Field Artillery (FA) Ready Reserve Battery showcased its capabilities during the visit of Reserve Command, Philippine Army (RESCOM) Commander Maj. Gen. Romulo A. Manuel Jr. at the headquarters of the Army Artillery Regiment (AAR) in Fort Magsaysay, Palayan City, Nueva Ecija on June 4, 2023.
AAR Commander Brig. Gen. Francis Anthony M. Coronel led the briefing for Maj. Gen. Manuel about the unit's capabilities, current thrusts, efforts, and initiatives.
As a highlight of the visit, the FA Ready Reserve Battery which has undergone series of orientation and integration trainings with the AAR, showcased their knowledge and skills acquired. This is an effort of both the RESCOM and AAR to strengthen and integrate the reserve force. Also, the regiment together showed full commitment to the “Share-a-Uniform” initiative for the reservists as it handed over number of donated Battle Dress Uniforms to the 3rd Regional Community Defense Group, a gesture of support to the Reserve Command.
In addition, Maj. Gen. Manuel, Brig. Gen. Coronel and their respective staff exchanged best practices to bolster their respective units’ mission accomplishment.
