Army to send Philippine shooters for AARM in Thailand

The Philippine Army conducted a send-off ceremony for the 42 delegates of the Philippine Army Shooting Contingent (PASCON) at Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on November 15, 2023 who will join the 31st Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) 2023 hosted by the Royal Thai Army.
 
The PASCON is composed of 25 shooters and 17 non-shooting staff who will compete in the AARM 2023 at the Infantry Center, Pran Buri District, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Thailand from November 16-25, 2023. The annual event is established to foster professional goodwill, cooperation, and friendly competition between neighboring Asian countries.
 
Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido conveyed his best wishes to the shooting team highlighting, “Go forth with the confidence that you are the best. Represent the Philippine Army with the same honor and integrity that you display every day. Your skills are unmatched, and your dedication is unwavering. Mabuhay ang Philippine Army!”
