The Commanding General Philippine Army (CGPA), Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido, called on the 9th Infantry "Spear" Division (9ID) troops to consistently pursue excellence and uphold the noble values of the profession of arms during his visit to the 9ID headquarters in Camp Elias Angeles, San Jose, Pili, Camarines Sur on November 27, 2023.
During the traditional "Talk to Troops," Lt. Gen. Galido lauded Spear Troopers for their achievements. He likewise reiterated his command guidance encapsulated in the acronym “ARMY”: “Always Pray for divine guidance”; “Reliable, Responsive, Relevant to the needs of the Nation”; “Mission-oriented for troop morale,” and “Yield personal interests and comfort for unity."
9ID Commander Maj. Gen. Adonis R. Bajao, along with the Spear Troopers, welcomed the CGPA and toured him through various camp facilities, including the Suportador Farm, Emergency Response Company, 9ID Training School, and newly constructed facilities.
