The Philippine Army commemorates Bonifacio Day in a simultaneous flag-raising ceremony and wreath-laying ceremony at Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on November 30, 2023.
Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Roy M Galido delivered a compelling call to action, urging troops and civilian human resources to embody heroism in every endeavor. He emphasized the importance of mutual understanding and a unified commitment to contribute to the nation's welfare and promote peace within our borders. "Make sure na tayo ay nagkakaintindihan at isa ang adhikain na makatulong sa ating bansa at mabigyan ng kapayapan ang ating bayan," Lt Gen. Galido remarked.
In honoring Bonifacio Day, the Philippine Army reaffirms its dedication to the ideals of heroism and national service. The organization remains steadfast in fostering unity and a sense of purpose among its personnel, reinforcing the commitment to serve the country and strive for the prosperity and tranquillity of our nation.
