Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido led the reception dinner for the 288 members of the Officer Candidate Course (OCC) “Talahiraya” Class 59-2023 at the Officer Candidate School in Camp O’Donnell, Capas, Tarlac on November 29, 2023.
The Army Chief shared leadership and professional advice to the future platoon leaders on his keynote remarks during the event. “Be a leader. Be the one known for rolling up your sleeves and working side by side with your soldiers in the field,” Lt. Gen Galido told the graduating officer cadets.
The Army Chief likewise led the ceremonial handover of individual clothing and initial equipment (ICIE), Glock pistol, and pay and allowance to members of the graduating class.
