The Philippine Army, through the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Civil-Military Operations (CMO), OG7, administered the CMO Annual Review (CMOAR) 2023 at Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on November 29-December 1, 2023.
The CMOAR 2023 evaluated the implementation of CMO programs and policies for 2023. The CMOAR also assessed the current CMO programs and existing CMO policies, which are still responsive and relevant in accomplishing the operational campaign objectives. The initiative is in accordance with Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido’s command thrust to address the needs of the nation.
The annual CMO review was participated by CMO Officers of the 11 infantry divisions, CMO Battalion Commanders, the Chief Army Human Rights Office and Operations Officers of the CMO Regiment as well as the Office of the Army Chief Public Affairs (OACPA) to ensure a well-capacitated CMO organization.
Assistant Chief of Staff for CMO, G7, Col. Victor M. Llapitan, expressed gratitude to all the CMO officers who put their time and effort into the workshop. He also underscored the integral role of civil-military operations in leveraging the success of various peace operations in the community.
